Private Lessons

Private lessons are geared towards owners interested in doing more of the training themselves. Our hour long lessons are packed with content and customized for each individual owner and their dog. 

​

Our trainers will be as hands on with the dog as needed but the goal is for owners to leave each lesson with new skills to practice at home. Learning new behaviors requires a lot of repetition and consistency so owner follow-through between lessons is the key to success! 

 

Private lessons are best suited for dogs with reasonably steady temperaments.

Common skills worked on in private lessons:

 

Social skillls with other dogs

Leash skills, heeling.

Basic obedience such as sit, down, stay, place, coming when called.

Troubleshooting common behavior problems such as jumping, counter-surfing, barking.
